Bienvenue !

Hi guys, welcome to my website "accès libre" ≈ "independent access"!

Most of the time you’re here because you’ve read one of my posts on CareCure Forum, and you’ve followed the link underneath.

I thank you for that.

Unfortunately this site doesn’t have an American/English version, because there’s no need for.  I just try to show to whom and where, as an «accessibility advisor», I can give help. But it’s a job that only concerns my neighborhood.

France, and especially my area, is far from accessible. I realized that after a wonderful trip from San Francisco to Los Angeles and San Diego on July 2012. But my area is also old, very old sometime (we have pre-1500 castles) and at this time nobody was thinking about disabled people! It has gently evolved, and of course now there’s a big gap and a lot of work to reach the standards.

As most wheelchair users, I’m very concerned by accessibity, that's why I’m also a volunteer in many commissions to examine the rules and their application.

I also believe in peercouncelling and helping each other, that's why I read the new posts on CareCure everyday. I'm very interested in new equipment and try most of the time to participate when I have something to share. The other forums - care, cure, family, home design, life, pain, new SCI, sports - interest me too, but my American isn't good enough to write in them.

A question? Planning a trip to France maybe, or something else? If you think I can help feel free to ask using my adress contact@acceslibre.eu
